Before opening Ignite in 2021, Wendy spent 10 years at the executive HR leadership level with a Fortune 500 health system. She serves her community by volunteering her time with non-profits, her local Economic Development Commission, and is actively engaged with her CEO peer council and Chamber of Commerce. She has been featured in entrepreneur spotlights, is a keynote and guest speaker, and facilitator; and is the local Business Leader’s Coach of Virginia’s New River Valley.

Wendy is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC, an ICF accredited program), earned a bachelor's degree in leadership & organizational development, a master's degree in management & leadership, and holds certifications as a Senior Consulting HR Professional (SHRM-SCP & SPHR). She’s a proud authorized partner with Wiley Brands and is an Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors® Certified Practioner.
